What a Great Room


I found the blueprints :o) The great room measures 20'5'' x 16'8''
and a 18' ceiling. The rest of the main floor and the basement has 9' ceilings

This is a great gathering room and it is full of furniture too... 2 full sized couches, a double rocker, a child's chair, another chair, sofa table, coffee table... You will never hesitate to host a get togethers because this room seats so many comfortably...

okay, warts and all this is our laundry room complete with laundry....





We use this sunny spot as our all purpose fun, craft, school, painting etc, etc room. It could be a breakfast room, an away room...

I love the tile - hides the dirt from kids stomping through . We also use it as a mud area with hooks for coats and a bench for boots. ( not shown for obvious reasons :o)There is easy access to the powder room and the laundry. You can enter this room from the back deck , the garage or the kitchen.

It is also a great overflow for parties as it is an extra place for little ones to eat...

What play room would be complete without a toy closet?
6'x7' holds all the necessary equipment ....
